Many of Israel’s officials have condemned Poland’s recent legislation and announcements about denying Poland’s part in the Holocaust, and rightfully so. It’s bad to twist history to suit one’s agenda. It’s even worse when performed by official representatives of a big country.
Not only have they condemned the actions, but they have also mentioned the evil of modifying history. Benjamin Netanyahu himself told the Polish people: “One cannot modify history”, and rightfully so.

At the same year, around Passover, we’ve heard the following statement coming from a meeting of the leaders of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – Mr. Netanyahu and his Deputy Minister Mrs. Tzipi Hotovely:
“Today we raised a toast in the office, in honor of Passover. The Exodus of Egypt was the moment of birth of the Israeli nation, going out from slavery to freedom, and transforming from individuals into a nation.”
